Oh, but I did want to share a conversation I had with Associate yesterday, because I still keep giggling over it. I can't remember what we were discussing, but he asked me if he should do X, and I said, "No, I think that's unnecessary. That would be gilding the lily." And he was like, "WHAT? What does that mean?" So I explained to him that it basically meant overdoing something. Then, LATER, we were discussing camping. . .

Associate: "Be sure to bring matches."
Me: "I'm not sure I would be able to strike them when I needed them."
Associate: *shows me his zipper* (Yes, by that I mean his FLY, for chrissakes.)
Me: "WHAT THE FUCK!?"
Associate: "No, I'm just showing you, you use your zipper to strike the matches."
Me: "Oh. Oh, my God, that completely threw me . . . I didn't know WHERE the hell you were going with that."
Associate: "What, you thought I was, what did you call it? 'Shucking the lilac' or whatever?"
Me: "SHUCKING THE LILAC!?" *dies of laughter*

So now we keep using "shucking the lilac" in conversation and cracking up. Jesus. The people I work with are characters, I swear.

You know, whenever I save pics from your lj, the title of every one of them is "original" (usually "original.jpg"). Which means I have to come up with my own names for them. And my names for them are so DUMB. Today's include terms like, "yellowglasses", "barefeet", "cardboardbox", etc.

Except for the very short Steve/Phil where they're at a party . . . and I think Pepper talks with Phil . . .and Steve gives Phil brand new cards. Maybe. I'm so lazy, my names are just keyboard smushes. Literally, I'll title something ;lhdfhdfiasiii and save it that way. I'm on a computer that's not private, so I can't really 'save' the pics (I delete everything at the end of the day) so I figure it doesn't matter what I call 'em. "Yellowglasses" is a step up from my system! :D

It's funny, because Tony isn't even one of my favorites, but I have an arc reactor shirt and I would wear the hell out of this necklace. Maybe I like it because of the blue color. I just wish someone on Etsy had come up with one half that elegant. So far the real ones are all kind of junky. :/
