I have a few recs for you guys! I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but keep getting busy. SO VERY BUSY. But I'm fanning The Avengers in a way I haven't fanned for many a year. Proof that it's not a passing fancy (or fassing pancy, as I accidentally typed)?

So yeah, anyway, recs!

God Bless America, (Steve/Phil) by LovelyKouga. This one is is a bit OOC and that sort of thing, but it's humor, and cracky humor at that, so throw your pretensions to the wind and enjoy it. It's really funny. And come on, the title is perfect. I adore fics where people get their wires crossed.

Communal Showers (Phil watching Steve shower) by kinky_kneazle. FILTHY. Deliciously so. :D Hot and wrong and so very right.

Seal Upon Your Arm (Steve/Phil) by sabinelagrande. Steve finds Phil's Captain America tattoo. This is everything I didn't know I wanted it in a fic. It's short, but gorgeous and perfect.

Incubus (Harry/Draco) by lmeden. As always, her writing is vivid and beautiful. It's very intense, but I loved the ending.

Cowboys and Ponies (Shawn/Lassiter, a short Psych fic) by entrenous. Shawn and Lassie have a kid and Shawn spoils her while Lassie grumps. This is HILARIOUS. I like Psych but I don't read much fic for it, and when I do I usually go for Shawn/Gus, but I know entrenous is a fantastic writer, so when I saw it go up I made grabby hands, and I'm not sorry. There were a few times when I literally guffawed. She has the voices down and the humor is so twinkly and grand.

Easy Like Sunday Morning (Steve/Phil) by justicemuffins. This is just a quiet little ficlet, a slice-of-life moment of fluff. But sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for, and this is so satisfying.

Trying to figure out if I want to do Phil/Steve or Kirk/Bones Christmas cards to mail out this year. :) Maybe I will do both. Thanks for the recs BB (and for dragging me on the Phil/Steve ship.)

You should totally do both!!! <3 Or all together. It makes me wonder; how would Kirk and Steve react to each other? I have the feeling Kirk would feel a bit irked at Steve being pretty and would therefore act out worse than usual, until Bones shouted, "YOU'RE PRETTY, OKAY? YOU'RE THE PRETTY ONE. THERE. DO YOU FEEL BETTER?" While Steve, of course, was utterly oblivious. Ha ha, okay, or Kirk and Tony. Wouldn't Kirk and Tony be fucking awesome together? They would be posturing and competing and acting like total morons while everyone around them rolled their eyes. Oh, man. Sorry, I just love the idea of ST/Avengers fic. :D

I will link you to my friend's story once she is finished. She is doing a crossover between the Avengers and Star Trek 09... and I have the pleasure of reading the WIP... (Being a beta is great plus she shares during word wars!) and I think you would like it. The interactions between characters... epic.

Will see what kind of Christmas Cards I come up with. (I refuse to call them Holiday cards... I may not be 'Christian' but it's still Christmas!)

Aww, thank you bunches for including my first Psych effort with these recs! :DDD Seriously, it went over sort of quietly, so the fact that you liked it means lots to me.

I should also say, I FINALLY saw Avengers, and while I've yet to try out any fanfic (just lots of frantic other stuff taking up my damn time) I've enjoyed paging through your .gif sets and picspams when I've had the chance! Your enthusiasm for the characters and ships is totally contagious!

I wish Psych were a bigger fandom! That fic totally deserved more attention than it got. Honestly, it was one of the best things I've read in a really long time.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed looking at the pretty pictures! I'm enjoying Avengers especially, I think, because I'm into a rarepair this time, and while it means less fic, it also means less backbiting and nastiness. I think I dig this rarepair thing.
